“Sushila’s Canticles" were recorded direct-to-CD, analog mode, in the living room of the singer, with the composer at the keyboard. The piano is a Steinway “M” series, lovingly rebuilt and tuned by Marshall Anderson. Piano and voice were miked separately but recorded on a single track. The recordings were edited and engineered by Terry Amato of Portland, Oregon, in collaboration with Lori Hedrick Helfand.
